1. Essential difference. Plastic is a full name, including thermoplastics and thermosetting plastics; Nylon is a thermoplastic and belongs to a type of plastic.
2. Different in nature. Plastic is a high molecular compound polymerized by addition polymerization or polycondensation reaction with monomer as raw material; Nylon is a general term for thermoplastic resins containing repeated amide groups "NHCO" on the main molecular chain.
3. Different characteristics. Plastic has good transparency and wear resistance, but poor low temperature resistance, becomes brittle at low temperature, and is easy to age; nylon has good comprehensive properties, including mechanical properties, heat resistance, wear resistance, chemical resistance and self-lubrication.
